THE PROBLEM

Your staff live inside thousands of pages of policy

Counselors and program staff work from federal regulation, state policy and procedure manuals. When a question comes up they search, they ask a supervisor, or they guess. Each of those costs time, and the last one costs more than time. New staff take months to get fluent. Your most experienced people spend their day answering the same questions.

WHAT IT DOES

What SixDot KI does

Staff ask a question in plain language. SixDot KI answers from the documents your agency approved, cites the exact section and links to it. Nothing comes from the open web.

Your corpus only

34 CFR Part 361, your state policy manual, SOPs, WAC or equivalent, and anything else you load. You control what is in and what is out.

A citation on every answer

Staff see the policy section the answer came from and can verify it in one click.

Understands how people ask

Synonym mapping means “self-employment” and “entrepreneurship” find the same policy.

Staff-facing or public

Deploy it for caseworkers, for the public, or both, with a separate corpus for each.

Accessible by design

WCAG 2.2 Level AA, verified by QualityLogic. Text-to-speech and speech-to-text built in.

Usage visibility

See what staff are asking, where policy is unclear and where training is needed.

PROOF

What it changed at Washington DVR

Washington State’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation adopted SixDot Knowledge Interpreter and announced it as the first vocational rehabilitation agency to use AI to build this kind of policy resource. Staff told us the difference showed up the first week.

“My supervisor is out today, and I had a question on an eligibility. I went to the Knowledge Interpreter, and it answered it with ease and cited the sections of the policy.”

First-year VR Counselor

“Before the Knowledge Interpreter system, it was difficult to navigate federal and state policies, and staff would often spend long periods of time combing through policies to answer inquiries.”

GETTING STARTED

What a deployment looks like

01

Collect

We gather the documents your staff argue about most: usually the policy manual, federal regulation and the SOPs.

02

Load and test

Your subject-matter experts throw real questions at it until they trust the answers.

03

Train and release

Standard training is included and delivered by our own trainers. Refresher sessions come at no added cost.

04

Maintain

Your staff update the corpus as policy changes. We coach them until they do not need us.

RESEARCH

What the five-minute search actually costs

We modeled what a state VR agency spends to answer its own internal questions, using cited BLS wage data and estimates labeled as such. A base-case agency fielding 37 questions a day spends about $359,000 a year, and 57% of that cost is context-switch recovery, blocked time, escalation and rework that no system records.

The paper also checks two statistics that circulate without support, gives a low-to-high range, and lists four inputs you can collect in a week to run the model on your own numbers.

$38.54

per question, 38.75 minutes of agency time
